Last year, @mikandcookiesco had the super creative idea of using some of my cutters to create Disney-inspired lingerie cookies. I adore anything with a unique twist, and we ended up doing a collab together (feel free to scroll through our feeds to see our takes on Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent). We’ve been dying to revisit that collab and finally found time 🤗. This time around, we sought inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, and it seems we both gravitated toward flowers and foliage. I took on the Queen of Hearts, inspired by her majesty’s rose garden and her playing-card-subjects’ desperate attempt to “Paint the roses red.” _______________________________________________________ Be sure to check out @mikandcookiesco magical take on this inspo too! Confession: I usually refuse to time myself when decorating cookies because the outcome is generally pretttyyyy disheartening 🙈. However, I ended up making enough fashion cookies for @amazonprimevideo’s @makingthecuttv that I can tell you for certain each design took a minimum of two hours to complete 😬👍🏼. TOTALLY WORTH IT, though! This was such a fun order despite all the tiny hand-cut pieces and subsequent lack of sleep. _______________________________________________________ Here are some beauty shots of the cookie design inspired by a winning look from super talented designer @rinatbrodach. These cookies are decorated with a pretty even combo of fondant and royal icing.
